Comment Extensive subscription list. Mainly canonical British authors, but Chase includes original poetry by at least ten American authors, including one poem by "a maniac in the hospital at Philadelphia." S&W #861 includes a full list of the US authors. Only two US poets contributed ten pages or more: Miss Lee of Maryland, and John Thomas of West River.
