SMYTH, William (fl 1813-32)
He was a teacher at Crossford, near Dunfermline, and the title page of his Reformer’s Friend indicates that he had retired by 1832. Although no copy has been located, he also wrote A Defense of the Genuine Burgher Secession Principles…or, The Good Old Way Defended…a Poem (Dunfermline, 1813). No other information has been found.
