SIM, James (fl 1811)
He lived in Kinclaven, Perthshire, and it is likely he was born there in 1762, the son of Jannet (Burns) and James Sim. He worked on the estate of Ballathie in the parish of Kinclaven, and knew Robert Nicholls (q.v.). Nothing more is known about him. His book has an extensive subscription list.
