Author: Paull, Henry Juleff
Biography:
PAULL, Henry Juleff (1805-65: ancestry.co.uk)
Other than what can be found on genealogical sites, this individual has left few traces. He was born on 22 Sept. 1805 at Devonport, Devon, to Richard Paull and his wife, Dorothy Juleff. On 15 June 1833 he married Ellen Tatlock Prynn at East Stonehouse, Devon; they had two daughters. At the time of the 1841 census they were living in Islington, London. He is listed as an accountant. Ellen died in 1844 and he married Emma Penley on 12 Jan. 1848. The 1851 census shows the family still living in Islington; he is listed as a clerk at Durant and Company, silk brokers. He died in 1865 at St. Thomas, Devonshire, but the exact date is not known. Reform is dedicated to Lord John Russell and a prefatory note insists that the work is written with no partisan motive.
