Author: Morrison, Samuel

Biography:

MORRISON, Samuel (fl 1825-46)

Little information has come to light. He was a bookbinder in Waterford but likely moved to Manchester in the 1840s between the publication of his Divine Love (Waterford, 1842) and British Genius, a Vision (Manchester 1846). Possibly he was the Samuel Morrison, tailor, listed in the 1861 Census as born in Waterford in about 1796 and living in Manchester with his wife, Sarah, and a daughter.
