MCCULLER, William (1760-1831: ancestry.com)
A Baptist minister in Clarendon VT at the time of his one known publication in 1814, he left Clarendon to serve the church in Ira VT from 1815 to 1819 and then in Salem NY from 1819 to 1828. His parentage and birthplace are not known, but after his death his widow received a pension for his service during the Revolutionary War, so he must have seen active duty as a young man. He and his wife Chloe Bullard, whom he married about 1790, had five children, one of whom died in infancy. He died at Ira on 3 Feb. 1831 and was buried there. (ancestry.com 28 Dec. 2019) HJ
