MACINTYRE, William (fl 1825-45)
He lived in Inveraray, Argyllshire, but no other reliable biographical information has been found. The book is dedicated to Walter Frederick Campbell, of Islay and Shawfield, M.P. for Argyllshire. A second book, Essay on Humanity and Miscellaneous Poetry (Glasgow and Edinburgh, 1845), reprints some of the poems from 1825.
