He may be the Hamilton Lochart who wrote to Andrew Jackson in 1826 reflecting on the recent election. If not, all that is known of him comes from the title-page of his book: he was teaching school in Salisbury township, Chester County PA, in 1806. (loc.gov/item/maj010847/ 21 Nov. 2019) HJ
