Author: Jones, S. I.
Biography:
JONES, S. I. (fl. 1831)
Absent a discovery, this poet will remain unidentified. Frustratingly, his book of poems and short stories, The Melange, lacks a traceable specific reference. All we learn from the poems is the author’s sex, male, and that he had been forced into exile from his native land. Two other clues to his identity, his initials and his book having been printed in Dover, Kent, have proved to be dead ends. JC
