HATHEWAY, Noah (1778-1804: WorldCat)

The full version of the very long title of Hatheway's posthumously published volume provides nearly all the biographical information that is available about him. He died Nov. 15, 1804, "in the twenty-seventh year of his age, after forty-seven days sickness"; he was "the eldest son of Elder Philip Hatheway, of Freetown [MA]" who edited the collection of verse and wrote the prefatory narrative.
