Hasell, William Soranzo (1780-1815: Hollis)
Son of Parker and Susannah (Hasell) Quince, he was born in Charleston SC. He took his mother's maiden name as his surname before he went to college, graduating in the Yale class of 1799. In 1806 he married Elizabeth Gardentart. They settled in Wilmington NC where he became a publisher and proprietor of the Wilmington Gazette.
