Author: Fennell, Samuel
Biography:
FENNELL, Samuel (fl 1811)
Although his poems are not especially religious, he was likely the Samuel Fennell, a Quaker, who was born in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, in 1771 and died in 1839. His book has two prefaces with one addressed directly to “The Inhabitants of County Tipperary,” stating that the book was “composed in your County, and by a Native, who never outstepped its borders for education.” (findmypast.co.uk 23 Feb. 2021) SR
