Though other Drakes were active among the Baptists in Ohio before and after his lifetime, there is very little solid information about this Jacob Drake beyond his title-page, which identifies him as the Pastor of the First Baptist Church, in Delaware County OH. It is likely that he was also the editor and publisher of a weekly newspaper, the Delaware Gazette and Religious Informer, which appeared for two years, 1818-1820. (WorldCat) HJ
