DAVID, Enoch (1718-93: ancestry.com)
He was born in Dover DE and his first verse publication on Protestant doctrine, A Call to All Such Christians Who Now Keep the First Day of the Week, to Keep the Seventh (c 1760), identifies him as a resident of Delaware's New Castle County. He was a preacher, probably a Baptist, and evidently an early advocate of Seventh-Day Adventist principles. He died in Woodbridgetown PA, where he preached his last sermon, and is buried in the Seventh-Day Adventist Baptist burying ground there. (ancestry.com 6 July 2018) HJ
