CRISP, John (fl 1804-32)
No trace of the first edition of his book has been discovered. John Crisp entered Gray’s Inn on 18 Sept. 1804 and is identified in the register as the eldest son of William Crisp of Brinton, near East Dereham, Norfolk. Crisp is a surprisingly common surname in Norfolk and no other biographical information that can reliably be linked to this author has been located.
