Biography:

CLARK, Asahel (1784-1822: Middlebury College Archives)

Born in Mount Holly VT to Stephen and Rachel (Jackson) Clark, he graduated from Middlebury College in 1806 and in the same year (or possibly 1805, no record traced) married Lydia Finney, with whom he had two sons. He later became a lawyer in New York State and died in Glens Falls NY. (Middlebury College Archives; ancestry.com 12 Aug. 2025) HJ
