CHARLTON, John K. M. (fl 1815-20)
The title-page of his Tales and Miscellanies (1820) describes him as "author of several dramatic works" but none appears to have been published. Charlton was primarily a newspaperman in Washington GA. In 1815 he published the Monitor, in 1816 the News, and in 1820 he joined Benjamin Duyckinck and John E.
