Biography:
CASE, William (1780-1858?: ancestry.co.uk)
Almost certainly he was the William Case who was baptised in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, on 8 Sept. 1780. His parents were William Case (d 1809), an attorney and alderman, and his wife Mary Wade Bodham; they had married in St. Margaret with St. Nicholas church in King’s Lynn on 27 May 1779. William Case jun. was apprenticed to his father for seven years on 22 Jan. 1796 and subsequently practiced as an attorney; he also served as clerk to the commissioners of King’s Lynn. Likely he married and had at least one son, also William Case, but no records have been located. He was probably the “William Case sen.” who died at Heacham, King’s Lynn, and was buried on 18 Apr. 1858.
