Biography:

BYRNE, P. E. (fl 1825-36)

Very little reliable information has come to light about this Irish writer who published in Dublin and London. His Western Harp implies that he was an Irish nationalist. He was a freemason and wrote a poem for the benefit of the Dublin masonic school for orphans. His humorous poem, “The Family of O’Bore,” was printed in the Monthly Magazine in Aug. 1836.
