BURDER, Sophia Maria (1793-1825: ancestry.co.uk)
She was born 4 Aug. 1793 and baptised the following month at West Orchard Chapel (Independent) Coventry, the daughter of the Rev. George Burder (q.v.) and his wife Sarah Harrison (1754-1824). The family moved to London in 1803 when her father took up the Independent ministry in Fetter Lane. Her Poetical Efforts (1826), edited by her father and published posthumously, consist of religious verse and family pieces. She died 27 Mar. 1825 and was buried at Bunhill Fields.
