BOYD, William (1776-1800: ancestry.com)
The son of James and Susanna (Coffin) Boyd, he was born in Newbury MA on 20 Mar. 1776. He graduated from Harvard in 1796 and went on to study medicine. On 10 Aug. 1798 he married Patty Frank at Salem MA; there do not appear to have been children before his early death at Boston in Jan. 1800. He was buried at Newbury, the burial record giving him the title "Dr." (Kettell; ancestry.com 23 Dec. 2017, 11 July 2025) HJ
