BIGELOW, Samuel (b 1738: Hollis)
The title-page of his first poem, printed in Worcester MA, describes him as the Pastor of a church in New Salem; the second, printed in Boston, as a "laborer in the Gospel." He was the son of Ebenezer and Hannah (Brown) Bigelow born in Worcester in 1738, married to Elizabeth Hubbard there in 1765, and buried as "Elder Samuel Bigelow" in Ware MA in 1807.
