Bigelow, Samuel (b 1738: Hollis)
The title-page of his first poem, printed in Worcester, describes him as the Pastor of a church in New Salem MA; the second, printed in Boston, as a "laborer in the Gospel." It is possible but not certain that he was the Samuel Bigelow born to Ebenezer and Hannah (Brown) Bigelow in Worcester in 1738, married to Elizabeth Hubbard there in 1765, and buried as "Elder Samuel Bigelow" in Ware MA in 1807.
