BEAUMONT, John (fl 1834-47)

The Preface to Original Psalms is dated from Meole Brace, Shropshire, and the 1841 Census shows him living at the same location with his wife Ann. The Census indicates that he was not born in Shropshire and identifies him as a Minister of the Gospel. It gives no other information. John Beaumont died in Apr. 1847 and was buried on 21 Apr. The burial notice gives his age as 59, indicating that he was likely born in about 1788. He was survived by his wife who died in 1867.
