ANDREWS, Edward Wigglesworth (1790-1825: ancestry.com)
Son of John Andrews and Margaret (Wigglesworth) Andrews; born in Newburyport MA. Graduated AM from Harvard in 1809 and became a clergyman like his father. He married Sally Farley at Ipswich MA on 13 May 1809 and served a congregation in Norwich, Chenango County NY. It is not clear whether or not the couple had children. Andrews died at Philadelphia on 23 Oct. 1825 and was buried in the Oak Hill cemetery, Newburyport. (ancestry.com 29 Aug. 2017, 7 Aug. 2025; New York Evening Post 10 May 1825) HJ
