ANDERSON, William (c. 1746-1800: Angus Album)

He was born at Kingoldrum, Angus, where his father was the parish schoolmaster. He was likely the William Anderson, son of John, who was baptised at Kingoldrum on 13 Nov. 1751. He may have attended Marischal College, Aberdeen; he later worked as a private tutor in Kirriemuir.
