ANDERSON, Joseph (b 1790/1: ancestry.co.uk)
Little biographical information has been located, but he was born at Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, and was a baker before becoming a book agent for Bungay Publishing in Aberdeen. He married Elizabeth Ogston in Peterhead on 21 Jan. 1815. She died in 1817 after the birth of their daughter, Isabel, on 29 Apr. He later remarried; in the 1841 Census, his wife’s name is given as Mary, and the couple have four daughters living with them.
