ADDISON, Jane, formerly WATSON (1768-1812: ancestry.co.uk)
Almost certainly she was the daughter of John and Mary Watson who was baptised at Scarborough on 27 Apr. 1768. She married Robert Addison (q.v.), a schoolteacher in Bridlington, Yorkshire, in York on 27 Dec. 1802; they had one child, Elizabeth, who was baptised in 1805. Jane Addison died before her book was published; she was buried at St. Mary's, Bridlington, on 19 Feb. 1812.
